Flying

You can fly into Gibraltar from London Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. Alternatively Malaga is a 1.5hrs drive away and there are also public transport routes from Malaga to La Línea de la Concepción, Spain, where you can then walk across the border to Gibraltar.

It’s worth remembering that Gibraltar National Day is on 10th September and a lot of university students fly back to the UK around this time so flight prices may increase quickly!

Getting a taxi (+350 200 70027) to and from your hotel should be around £15-£25 and the number 5/10 bus is £1.60 for a single fare.

Getting to the venue

As there is limited parking at the venue, we do recommend getting a taxi or a bus to the venue.

We are considering arranging coaches from the town area to the venue on the day of the ceremony. If we get these confirmed we will pass on the information!

Generally, for getting around Gibraltar the bus service has good coverage & most of Gibraltar is walkable distance, just might get a bit hilly as you enter South District.

Getting around

As you can imagine, Gib is very well connected being such a small place. You can walk to the majority of places but the bus routes cover everywhere you’d need to go to.

Number 2, 3 & 4 go to the south district. 2 goes as far as Europa Point. 

Number 8 is for the East Side and the beaches.

There are night buses, the N8S and N8E which goes from the centre to the South and East respectively. It is a £2 fare.

Taxis are expensive in Gib and you’d be best getting the bus, but they are there if you need them! No Ubers or Bolts unfortunately but the number for local taxis is +350 20070052.
